Today's mountain bikes are truly amazing, and a significant investment. We're big believers in giving customers an opportunity to demo prior to purchase. We keep a deep fleet of demo bikes from Yeti, Niner, Revel, Moots, and Salsa and you can launch your ride straight out our door. Given the gravity of a new bike purchase, we like to make all demo reservations in person or over the phone to make sure we're setting you up for the best experience possible. D
Mountain Bike Tours & Prices
1/2 Day Marin County
Marin is considered the birth place of mountain biking. Let us craft a 1/2 day ride for you or your group, tailored to your liking - novice to expert and everything in between.
$150 - $250 per person
Sonoma County Full Day
To be candid, mountain biking in wine country is better than the wine. More of an intermediate to advanced ride, with engaging trails, rocks, and roots to challenge you. Travel time to trail: 60 minutes.
$175 - $300 per person
So...How Does This Tour Thing Work?
Ideally, we like to start and end tours from The Lodge, or our SF store. This allows us to set up your demo bike under ideal conditions, and make sure you have everything you need before we hit the trail. Taking time to set fork and shock pressure, tire pressure, and fit, make a big difference. We have helmets, and most popular clip in pedals, as well as platform pedals. Once the bikes are dialed, we'll load in our van and go. Travel time to the trail head varies from 45 to 90 minutes (unless we're leaving from The Lodge). Time permitting, we prefer to have a post ride libation. We are flexible on timing, and try our best to schedule your tour around your schedule. More questions? Santa Cruz Full Day Adventure
Santa Cruz is probably our favorite place to ride. Just up from the Pacific Ocean, lie dense Redwood forests with twisty, loamy, flowy goodness to explore by bike. Travel time to trail: 90-120 minutes.

Urban Mountain Biking
Believe it or not, SF has breathtaking off road riding. Granted, you have to mix it in with some pavement, but it makes for a special adventure, right out our City shop's front door.

How Much Does It Cost?
Pricing varies based on the number of people. Our most popular tour, a half day excursion to Marin County, runs $250 for one person, $175 for two-three people, and $150 for four or more.
Full day Santa Cruz tours are $395 for one, $225 for two - three, and $200 for four or more.
Sonoma County tours are $300 for one, $200 for two-three, and $175 for four or more.
SF Urban Tours are $175 for one, $100 per person for two or more.
